Czech for Foreigners - classes for Erasmus+ Program

In the winter and as well in the summer semester of the current academic year 2023/24, our Department of Languages and Medical Terminology of the 3FM CU in the cooperation with the European Office of the International Relations Department of the Rectorate CU organized the Czech classes for foreigners – for the Erasmus+ “incoming” students.

The courses offered on the beginner, pre-intermediate and intermediate levels were attended by the students of medicine and science, from both the 3^rd and 2^nd Medical faculties, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, from many European universities who studied one or two semesters in the Programme Erasmus+ at the Charles University in Prague.

The students learnt not only the basics of the Czech language within the classes but had an opportunity to work on their communication skills as well. The more advanced classes also covered topics of scientific terminology and offered information on local history, culture and sights which could enrich their study and stay in Prague.
