Project Narrative:

The aim of doctoral study will be evaluation of the importance of molecular biomarkers of tumor prognosis and efficacy of anticancer drugs using modern pharmacogenomic approaches. During the study, expression profiles of candidate biomarkers, as well as their genetic variability and regulation of gene expression will be investigated in blood and solid tumor tissue samples. The significance of potential biomarkers will also be studied using in silico tools and in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
