Project Narrative: |
Transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) with a specific frequency is able to reduce tremor and bradykinesia and also slow cognitive decline in individuals with Parkinson's disease. The aims of this project are (1) to learn the technique of transcranial alternating current stimulation; (2) EEG scanning; (3) analysis of changes in tremor characteristics and postural stability in healthy volunteers due to tACS stimulation. |
Requirements for student applicants: |
Completed university education (Master) in general medicine, or, psychology or natural sciences or biological signal processing. |
