Project Narrative: |
According to recent research transcranial electrical stimulation with direct or alternating current (tDCS, tACS) provides at least short-term improvement in some motor symptoms after stroke or parkinsonism (PD). Thus, non-invasive stimulation of the cerebellum or primary motor cortex (M1) appears to be a promising tool to improve static and dynamic parameters of posture. The aim of the project is to compare the effectiveness of the use of tDCS and tACS applied over the cerebellum or M1 with regard to static and dynamic characteristics of posture in a healthy individual with the perspective of use in patients after stroke or PD. |
