Interactive teaching of ophthalmology at 3FM CU

Ophthalmology studies at our faculty have always been consistently in high demand. Apart from the compulsory practice in the 5th year, we also offer plenty of optional workshops to hone one´s practical skills.

Students get to simulate basic operations such as cornea surgeries on porcine eyes. Nonetheless, even the more experienced individuals get to practice advanced procedures under experts´ guidance, e.g. cataract extraction with lens replacement.
