Class of 1974: Golden Graduations

50 years ago, 1974, the graduates of 2FM and 3FM CU stood together in Karolinum, receiving their hard-earned diplomas. Today, we have the honour of hosting the alumni´s reunion at the ´Golden Graduation´, their 50th anniversary. Some stayed in Czechoslovakia, some emigrated to other countries, but still made an effort to visit us. Though their hair has become gray, most are still amazingly vivacious and remember the graduation day very well. Both faculties prepared them very well for their medical careers. The ´Golden Graduation´ is not just about reminiscing but also a time for great gestures and orators. This year, we were gifted with great speeches from the Dean Emeritus of 2FM, Prof. Komarek, the Vice-Rector CU Doc. Polak, the 2FM Vice-Dean Prof. Zamecnik, and the 3FM Vice-Dean Prof. Arenbergerova.
