Hugo Pinto Marques

We would like to invite you to our next lecture in the Medicine as a Science series featuring Professor Hugo Pinto Marques from the Surgical Department at Lisbon University Hospital. Aside from being the head of surgical department he is also a professor of general surgery at NOVA Medical School in Lisbon. Additionally, he works as a hepatobiliary surgeon at the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon. His expertise lies in hepatobiliary surgery and transplantation, with a particular focus on laparoscopic and robotic liver surgeries. Professor Marques has made significant contributions to academia through numerous publications, book chapters, and participation in international conferences.

The topic of the lecture will be “Robotic Surgery”
