Dr. Jens PuschhofWe are pleased to invite you to the first Medicine as a Science lecture in this year’s cycle. Our invitation has been accepted by Dr. Jens Puschhof, who works as a Principal Investigator in the Epithelium Microenvironment Interaction Laboratory in the Microbiome and Cancer Division at German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg.
Dr. Puschhof’s group uses organoids and organ-on-a-chip co-cultures to study the role of microenvironmental factors in colorectal carcinogenesis.
Dr. Puschhof’s lecture will be on the topic of “Modelling Cancer-Microbiome Interactions with Organoids and Organs-on-a-Chip”.
The lecture will take place online on MS Teams on Tuesday Oct. 15th at 4 pm.
This lecture will be held in English and will also be recorded.
It is funded by the Department of International and Public Relations of the 3rd FM.
